Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy
I am trained in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT). It follows a structure in which I teach about trauma and copings skills, help build a narrative of your story and re-process it. Lastly, we work on future planning to help you feel more confident facing the world. Although this is a structured modality for ages 3-19 years old, I use concepts and tools from this model to help adults process their trauma.
Gottman Method Couples Therapy
I have completed Level 1 Training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy, and use Gottman Method Couples Therapy in my work with couples. This method works well for couples who want to learn to manage conflict, increase fondness and admiration for each other, and build a sense of shared meaning in life together. You will learn specific tools to help you flourish in these areas.
Existential Therapy
I use this lens when clients are searching for their purpose, trying to make sense of their circumstances or life events, or going through change. When something shakes our world up this can help you figure out where you want to land.
