I provide psychotherapy to children, individuals, couples and families. My specialties include working with clients to identify and process trauma, improve communication, and increase positive parent-child interactions.

My style

I have a collaborative approach to working with clients. I take some time to get to know you so I can engage with you in a way that is comfortable and effective. I check in with clients periodically regarding my approach to provide opportunities to discuss what you think is effective and how my approach makes you feel.

What can you expect to take away from sessions with me?

Clients can expect to walk away from sessions feeling thoughtful at times. Clients may feel motivated to try new approaches to life situations. I can help clients feel equipped with knowledge about our thinking processes and relevant information about the client's focus of treatment (i.e. trauma, depression, relationships, etc.).

Cultural Considerations

While I am trained in cultural competency I foster an open line of communication about cultural considerations with clients to build awareness of specific cultural needs, customs and values that may guide treatment. While many cultures have common characteristics I view each client as unique and create space for clients to tell me who they are and what is important to them personally.
